At the 2010 Golden Globes awards, Fergie looks great in a lavender Elie Saab dress. What makes this dress look great is the beaded detail around the waist which gives most any figure an hour-glass look. Also, the material looks to be slightly gathered at the waist which creates soft pleating. 

A similar look can be achieved with La Femme’s 15225 or  15081. Both of theses options have details at the waist. The blue 15225 has the same soft pleating as Fergie's as well. Keep in mind that at Distinctions in Fashion you can get other dresses very similar to Fergie's look. They can even special order dresses in different colors.

Additional options are Dancing with the Stars 15128 shown here in royal blue. This dress has details at the waist and looks to be gathered slightly at the waist allowing the material to drape softly. The cutout dip around the top of the bodice makes it slightly different than Fergie's, but gives this dress it's unique flare.

Gigi's 15188 in sky blue takes the attention detail at the waist to a new level. Besides the bling, the dress is cutout at the waist and gathered at the center. Another added feature is the slit that goes up to mid thigh.  A bit daring, this dress is great if you're tall with great muscle tone.

Lea Michele looks fabulous in a black strapless Oscar de la Renta gown. Very dramatic looking. For a similar look try Jovani’s style number 141216, shown here in white. Or take a look at Jovani’s 152055. Shown here in orange this dress can make the same statement. With this color you’ll certainly stand out. Another choice would be Terani’s 95220. It too has a sweetheart neckline and flowing skirt. Remember you’re going for the overall effect and not always an exact duplicate.
